A more considered approach
to make and wear
Each piece is made in response to real demand, allowing for a more intentional use of materials and a slower, more considered way of producing clothing. This approach helps reduce excess and avoid overproduction, ensuring that what we make has purpose.
Our materials are chosen with the same care. Our yarn is sourced from a women-led yarn production company in Florence, just 15 minutes from where our knitwear is made. This close relationship allows the yarn and production process to remain closely connected, much as our sewn garments are developed and produced close to our London studio.
Our knitwear prototypes and patterns are developed by Gunda Hafner in our London studio, before being brought to life in Florence by a women-run mother-and-daughter company specialising in hand knitting. Keeping these relationships close allows us to work carefully with skilled makers, maintain a high level of communication and give each piece the attention it deserves.
Across the collection, natural fibres, comfort, functionality and longevity remain central. By producing in response to real demand and working closely with the people who make our clothes, we can maintain a thoughtful process where material integrity, quality and attention to detail come first.
Choosing made to order supports a more conscious way of dressing: one that values considered design, responsible production, skilled craftsmanship and pieces made to be worn and kept over time.
